Admn for black list of defaulter contractors

     Raigarh, April 29, 2009: The Raigarh district administration has issued notices to all the contractors, who are delaying the construction works of the Chhattisgarh Government.

     It was a serious matter and the contractors should be issued notices for their delay in completion of the works, said Raigarh District Collector Munish Kumar Tyagi.

         Initially they have been asked to complete the works in a stipulated time period and if they failed to do so, the contractors would be black listed, said Tyagi.

     Immediately after the Election Commission relaxed the Model Code of Conduct, the District Collector reviewed the works of the Public Works, Bridge Corporation and National Highway authority.

     The Collector had also asked the authority to improve the condition of the National Highway 200 and 216 and stressed for completion of the works before the start of the monsoon.
