Assembly passes Rs 1149 Cr supplementary Budget

     Raipur, February 21, 2011: Just a couple of days before the present of general budget for the financial year 2011-12, Chhattisgarh Assembly today passed the third supplementary budget of Rs 1149 crore.

     The House today gave its approval on the proposal of the Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, who also hold the Finance portfolio, for the third supplementary budget of this fiscal.

     After a discussion, the house passed the budget and its appropriation bill for Rs 11,49,82,70,600.

      The government is scheduled to move the annual budget for the next fiscal on February 26.
