Raipur, February 08, 2013: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh has decided to include students from Ayurved, Homoeopathy, Dental Education, BPT and B-Pharma along with B.Sc (Agriculture) stream for the free laptop and tablet scheme of the state government, officials said today.
They would be covered under the scheme to connect them with the non-formal computer literacy, official sources said.
The decision was taken after separate delegations from those streams met the Chief Minister yesterday, they said.
The Chief Minister had earlier announced during Rajyotshav-2012 to give away free tablets to BA, B.Sc and B.Com students and free laptop to last year medical and engineering students.
