BJP hit the street alleging corruption in construction of road divider and beautification

   Raipur, November 08, 2022: Main opposition BJP today took to the street to allege that the Congress regime is involved in irregularities and corruption in construction of divider and beautification on the Kolkata-Mumbai National Highway.

     After majority of the works were completed, the authorities have issued Rs 2 crore tender for construction of divider and beautification on the road between VIP (Airport) road and Telibandha, Raipur Lok Sabha MP Sunil Soni alleged.

      When major portion of the works have already been completed, notification has been issued to submit tender with in November 16 for the said work, BJP Lok Sabha MP said.

     This was a clear case of misutilisation of fund to give benefit to their own people, Soni accused the Congress saying, in the name of development the state government was involved in corruption.

     Meanwhile, BJP workers today staged demonstration in front the spot calling it Wall of Corruption.

     Led by newly appointed Raipur City District BJP President Jayanti Patel, the party alleged that the funds for Smart City project has been misutilised for corruption and asked how works had been started without the tender process was completed?
