BJP workers scuffle with Leader of Opposition Singhdeo

     Raipur, July 20, 2015: In a rare incident, ruling BJP workers today scuffled with the senior Congress leader and Leader of Opposition T S Singhdeo on the street of Shankar Nagar.

     When Singhdeo was returning back from Assembly the BJP workers blocked the route of his vehicle and when he get down to understand what had happened, the BJP youth wing workers mobbed him.

     The Leader of Opposition was virtually pushed and in the presence of security forces the BJP workers scuffled with the senior Congress leader, eye witnesses said.

     The BJP workers also put black colours on the name plates of Singhdeo and PCC Chief Bhupesh Baghel at their Shankar Nagar residence.

      The action of the BJP workers created tension and Congress workers swung into action and broke the name plate of Home Minister Ramsewak Paikra and blocked the road of the Shankar Nagar.

     The entire thing has exposed the intelligence gathering and preparedness of the Raipur police.
