Janjgir, November 3, 2009: Janjgir-Champa region, one of the backward districts of Chhattisgarh, would soon have a blood bank.
State Health Minister Amar Agrawal today made the announcement in that affect in a meeting here.
Participating in a function to start month long campaign for vaccination and other medical facilities for the children of the District, the Health Minister today agreed to the demand of the BJP local MP Kamla Devi Patle to establish a blood bank at the District Hospital here.
Agrawal also said the state government had taken several steps in the health sector and especially to protect the lives of the children and the mothers.
