Budget session starts with Guv Address

     Raipur, March 02, 2015: Chhattisgarh Governor Balram Jee Das Tandon today addressed the state assembly on the inaugural day of the Budget session.

     However, it was not a smooth session as the members from the opposition bench attempted to disrupt the governor by raising the issues like corruption in PDS and Civil Supply Corporation and in Irrigation Department.

     The governor on his address said the state has achieved tremendous growth on agriculture sector.

     But senior members Satya Narayan Sharma and Bhupesh Baghel raised the non-payment of paddy bonus to farmers.

     The budget session would continue up to April 7.

     The budget session would have 23 working days.
