Raipur, December 08, 2015: Builder Sanjay Bajpai today passed away after a massive cardiac arrest.
In the evening he suffered a heart attack and was immediately shifted to a private nursing home, where he breathed his last.
On his Swagat Vihar land scandal Bajpai was arrested and put behind the bar and was on bail.
Earlier in the day it was decided by the Chhattisgarh police to form a fresh special investigation team (SIT) to probe the Swagat Vihar land scandal.
Names of some government officials have been also figured in the scandal, in which it was alleged that through the scheme government lands were sold to people as private plots.
