Raipur, November 24, 2015: Chhattisgarh cabinet today approved one more post of Director General in the police establishment.
After a discussion the cabinet, led by Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, approved one more post of DG in the state.
The cabinet also decided to include seven more tehsils as drought hit. Those tehsils are located in Jashpur, Surajpur, Durg and Bastar districts.
It was also decided to provide relief to the farmers from next months.
The farmers would be given free of cost 1500 unit electricity and per hectare one quintal paddy seeds for the next kharif season.
To intensify campaign against prohibition in Chhattisgarh the Bharat Mata Bahini has been brought under the Excise Department taking that from Social Welfare Department.
