     Raipur, July 21, 2010: Chhattisgarh cabinet, led by Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today approved a proposal to form Chhattisgarh Construction Academy here in the state.

     The Chhattisgarh Construction Academy would help the unemployed in improving their skill and generate employment, briefing about the cabinet decision Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Ram Vichar Netam said.

     In an area of 30 acre located in the new capital area, the Academy would d be constructed, he said.

     He Government also proposed to bring in legislation to make it mandatory for anyone to take permission to start any nursing home, hospital in the state.

     This new legislation would help in improving the health care condition of the state, they said.

    The cabinet also gave approval for appoint of some staff at the Chhattisgarh Bhawan at New Delhi on contract basis.

     Since Health Minister Amar Agrawal and Housing and Urban Development Minister Rajesh Munat were outside the state, they could not attend the cabinet.
