Raipur, November 01, 2014: Chhattisgarh today completed 14 years.
During this journey, the state has achieved several hall marks in many a field.
Whether infant and mother mortality rate, or that of agricultural productivity, the state had achieved success.
However, on the corruption front the success was dismal. Also on the front of Maoist violence the state has to go a long way to establish peace and prosperity in the tribal and underdeveloped areas.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has wished the people of the state peace and prosperity on this occasion.
Governor Balram Jee Das Tandon has wished the people on the foundation day. Interestingly today was also the birth day of the Governor.
Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh said the creation of the new state by the former prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has changed the life and style of the people of Chhattisgarh.
All round development of the state was the dream of his government, said the Chief Minister.
