Chhattisgarh gears up for annual budget

     Raipur, November 11, 2011: Chhattisgarh government has begun its works for preparing the annual budget for the fiscal 2012-2013, officials said today.

     In the preliminary meetings with the head of departments, the Finance Department has discussed the expected revenue receipt and expenditure to be incorporated in the next budget, the officials said.

     From today the Finance Department would start discussing with various departments about their proposed planned expenditure, which would continue up to November 24, they said.

     Since the state would be going to poll after two years, the state government wanted to focus on its budget before Chhattisgarh get in to poll mode.
