Chief Minister Sai said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s objective is that every household should have a pucca house, a toilet, clean drinking water, and the benefits of the Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Free Electricity Scheme. To realize this objective, our government is working with commitment in the interest of the people, he added.

Sai said that Chhattisgarh is completing 25 years as a separate state, and we are celebrating the silver jubilee year. The promises made under Prime Minister Modi’s guarantee before the formation of the government are being fulfilled one by one.
At the programme, he handed over house keys to 1073 beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), gas connections to three thousand women under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, land ownership documents to five thousand farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Swamitva Yojana, and materials and checks for financial assistance to beneficiaries under various schemes.

Sai said that paddy is being procured at the rate of Rs 3,100 per quintal, up to 21 quintals per acre, in the state. The rate for tendu leaf collection has been increased to Rs 5,500 per standard bag. Farmers have also been given the outstanding bonus for two years. A large number of women are benefiting from the Mahtari Vandan Yojana and the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana.

He said that under the Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Yojana, free electricity will be provided to every household. A significant subsidy is also being provided under this scheme, so more and more people should install solar panels in their homes and take advantage of it.
