Raipur, February 14, 2024: Chhattisgarh School Education Minister Brij Mohan Agrawal today said the government will soon recruit 33 thousand teachers in the state.
Replying to a debate for budgetary allocation of more than Rs 8879 crore for his departments, including School and Higher Educations, Tourism, Religious Affairs, senior Minister Brij Mohan Agrawal said the government would soon recruit more than 33 thousand teachers in the state.
Stating that the Atmanand School would hence forth be governed through the School Education Department, he said in about 25 thousand schools from Standard I to XII one section will be specially dedicated to English medium students.
There is also a vacancy of 4200 lecturers in colleges and universities and that would also be filled shortly, he said.
Pradhanmantri Antarrashtriya Lok Kala Mahotshav (Prime Minister International folk festival) would be organised in Raipur, Sirpur and Raigarh, said Agrawal.
