Raipur, August 02, 2026: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today engaged in a heartfelt interaction with students from ‘Prayas’ residential schools who successfully cleared the NEET-2026 examination.
Welcoming the students at the CM House in the capital, Raipur and wishing them a bright future, the Chief Minister remarked that it is a matter of pride for the entire state of Chhattisgarh that students from underprivileged and tribal communities, studying in the state-run ‘Prayas’ residential schools, have achieved remarkable success in a challenging examination like NEET.
Sai noted that there are currently 17 ‘Prayas’ residential schools operating in the state.
The objective of these schools is to provide quality education and superior preparation for competitive examinations to talented children from remote, tribal, and economically disadvantaged families.
He stated that this success is the result of a collective effort involving the blessings of parents, the dedication of teachers, and the students’ own hard work.
The Chief Minister extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the students, as well as to their parents and teachers.
Addressing the students, the Chief Minister said, “You are the doctors of the future. In society, a doctor’s position is considered second only to God; God gives us life, while doctors save lives.”
He urged the students to become not only skilled physicians but also doctors who are sensitive, approachable, and affable.
Sai emphasised that treating a patient well can, in itself, become a means of healing various ailments. He called upon the students to regard serving society, the state, and the nation as their highest duty.
