Raipur, November 21, 2024: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai along with his wife Kaushalya Devi Sai and other family members reached Magneto Mall in the capital city to watch the film ‘The Sabarmati Report’.
In this film, an attempt has been made to show the story of the train accident that happened 22 years ago in Godhra, Gujarat. Film’s director Ekta Kapoor and the its heroine Riddhi Dogra were also present on the occasion.

Praising the film ‘The Sabarmati Report’, Chief Minister Sai said that this movie should also be watched because only the study of the past can give us better guidance about the present and the future.
This film is a very commendable and impressive effort to expose the horrific truth of history which was tried to be hidden for vested interests, he said. This film exposes the truth of the current system, which used to make a reprehensible attempt to suppress the truth by spreading false narratives. The film presents the painful incident with sensitivity, he added.

Earlier Chief Minister Sai had announced to make the film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ tax free in Chhattisgarh.
On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Women and Child Development Minister Laxmi Rajwade also accompanied him to watch the film.
