Raipur, September 16, 2025: On the occasion of Vishwakarma Puja, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will pay more than Rs 65 crore to the labour workers of the state in the capital tomorrow through DBT.
Official sources said today that on the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti at the Indoor Stadium in Raipur, Chief Minister Sai will pay assistance of Rs 65 crore 16 lakh 61 thousand 456 to one lakh 84 thousand 220 workers of the state through DBT by the Labour Department.
The programme will be presided over by Labour Minister Lakhan Lal Devangan.
On this occasion, President of Chhattisgarh Bhawan and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board Rampratap Singh and other public representatives will also be present.
On the instructions of Sai, various schemes are being run by Chhattisgarh Bhawan and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board to provide financial help to the labour forces of the state and to make them strong.
The Board will transfer Rs. 58 crore 32 lakh 38 thousand 136 to 01 lakh 77 thousand 049 construction workers, Chhattisgarh Unorganised Workers State Social Security Board will transfer Rs. 4 crore 77 lakh 50 thousand 750 to the accounts of 3 thousand 839 beneficiaries and Chhattisgarh Labour Welfare Board will transfer Rs. 2 crore 06 lakh 72 thousand 570 to the accounts of 3 thousand 332 beneficiaries through DBT.
