Raipur, August 23, 2025: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, during his Japan visit today, met senior representatives of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Tokyo and discussed in detail the possibilities of investment and industrial cooperation.
The meeting highlighted the immense potential of Chhattisgarh in sectors like IT, textiles, aerospace, automobile, electronics and clean energy.

The Chief Minister invited the representatives of JETRO to explore new investment opportunities in the state’s rapidly growing economy.
Sai held detailed discussions with senior representatives of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Nakazo Kazuya, Ando Yuji and Hara Harunobu in Tokyo on the possibilities of investment and industrial cooperation.
The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh is an emerging industrial and investment destination located in the heart of India. The state government is attracting global investors through transparent policies, smooth processes and strong industrial infrastructure.

The discussion with JETRO representatives will strengthen new possibilities of economic cooperation between Chhattisgarh and Japan, he said.
During his stay, the Chief Minister also visited the ‘Deep Space – To the Moon & Beyond’ exhibition organized on the occasion of National Space Day.

On this occasion, he said that this rich glimpse of space science and innovations will give new direction and inspiration to the space manufacturing cluster being developed in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh with the cooperation of the Government of India in the coming days.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that Chhattisgarh will get concrete results in the field of investment, innovation and technology transfer from Japan.
Sai said that the goal of the Chhattisgarh government is not only to make the state industrially self-reliant but also to give it a strong identity on the world stage through international cooperation.
