Raipur, January 03, 2025: Chhattisgarh Government today suspended the current Chief Municipal Officer of Dallirajhara for irregularities in purchase and other allegations.
Current Dallirajhara CMO Bhupendra Wardekar has been suspended for irregularities during his Kondagaon posting, official sources said today.
During his posting as Kondagaon CMO renovation works were carried out in the chamber of the Chairman and furniture were also purchased and it was found his involvement in alleged irregularities in both the works, the sources said.
The state government took this irregularities seriously and placed him under suspension, they said.
During his suspension his headquarters has been fixed as Jagdalpur.
The state government has also directed the Urban Administration and Development Department to issue him charge-sheet with in the due date.
