     Raipur, October 10, 2022: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today announced setting up of a new medical college in Kawardha District of the state.

     Without giving any time limit, the Chief Minister, in the presence of Health Minister T S Singhdeo and Forest Minister and local Kawardha MLA Momd Akbar, said a new medical college will be started in the district.

      Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had also promised to the locals during his tour of the region to have a medical college. Keeping that in mind the Congress government has decided to set up a new medical college in the region, Baghel said.

     Officials have also been instructed to initiate the process for the Kawardha Medical College, he said.
