Raipur, July 16, 2023: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today urged the people for going plantation to save environment and increase green cover of the state.
During Hareli festival each household should plant at least a tree, CM Baghel said in a message.
Villagers, who are interested in the idea, would be provided sapling free of cost, he said.
State Forest Department has also been instructed to provide the sapling to the people free of cost.
Baghel also asked the people to plant a tree, take a selfie with that and upload in the social media with hashtag Hariyar_Hareli to promote the culture of mass plantation.
