Bilaspur, January 19, 2023: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today directed the officials to prepare a detailed action plan to supply water from Khudia Reservoir to the nearby villages.
The Chief Minister also asked officials to ensure proper maintain of law and order situation else be prepared to face the consequences.
A detailed action plan should be prepared by the officials without any delay, how water from Khudia reservoir could be supplied to the nearby villages of Takhatpur region in Bilaspur district for drinking and other purposes, the Chief Minister told a review meeting here in village Khapri under Takhatpur assembly segment of Bilaspur district.
Due to hard water, people are facing problems despite having overhead water tanks, Baghel said and directed the officials to work for supply of drinking water through the tape in those areas.
The Chief Minister said he had been receiving complaint of seeking bribes and other matters against the patwaris, and asked the district authorities to get it probed through the sub divisional magistrates. Let the SDM check this else actions will be taken against the SDMs, he said.
Talking about the law and order situation, Baghel said he had been receiving complaint of stabbings, which need to be checked at any cost.
Stern action should also be taken against the people, who are taking law into their hands, he said and warned he will not tolerate lawlessness.
