Raipur, January 25, 2010: For the first time Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today met the new Governor Shekhar Dutt, after the later assumed office on Saturday last.
Singh met Dutt at the Raj Bhawan here, officials told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.
The Chief Minister briefed the new Governor about the steps his Government had taken in the welfare of the people and especially on the tribals.
Both of them had also discussed about the naxal issue and the stand of the Government on that, sources claimed.
It was the first meeting after Dutt took over as the Governor of Chhattisgarh on Saturday last.
