Raipur, April 24, 2011: Prominent Spiritual Guru Sathya Sai Baba passed away this morning after hospitalization for nearly a month.
The 85-year-old Baba passed away at 7.40 AM today at Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences at Puttaparthi due to cardio-respiratory failure.
Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences at Puttaparthi was founded by him in the backward Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh.
Reports said the Baba would be buried on Wednesday.
Governor Shekhar Dutt and Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh have expressed their deepest condolences over the death of Sathya Sai Baba.
