Raipur, May 08, 2015: Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today ordered a probe into the incident of collapse of the domes in the meeting place of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which 41 people were injured.
The Chief Minister has asked the administration to probe the incident, official sources said.
At least 41 people were injured in the incident, official sources said adding conditions of some of the people are critical.
A day ahead of the tour of the Prime Minister, storm earlier in the day badly damaged the meeting place of the premier.
Two domes caved in due to storm and heavy rainfall injuring some in critical condition also.
Several police men have also been injured in the incident, which took place in the Naya Raipur area of Chhattisgarh.
PWD Minister Rajesh Munat had a providential escape as he was in the area when the dome caved injuring several people.
The Minister was on the meeting place to review the preparation for the meeting of Modi.
Many civil and police officials admitted that the incident could be treated as a lapse in the security of the prime minister.
