     Raigarh, September 05, 2016: 32nd Chakradhar Samaroh was inaugurated by the Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh here today on the Ganesh Chaturthi.

     The Chief Minister inaugurated the 32nd Chakradhar Samaroh at Ramleela ground this evening, in which Union Minister of state for Steel Vishnu Dev Sai and many state ministers were present.

     The function is named after King of Raigarh Raja Chakradhar Singh, who had dedicated his entire life for the development of art and culture.

     King Chakradhar had developed the classical form of Raigarh Gharana of Kathak style, he said.

     The ten-day function has given identity to Chhattisgarh and its arts and culture in and outside India, Singh said.

     The Chief Minister also announced approval of Chakradhar Kala Kendra at Raigarh to impart training on dance and music.
