New Delhi, July 28, 2024: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today met senior BJP leader and former state in-charge Om Prakash Mathur and congratulated him on being appointed as the Governor of Sikkim state.
Chief Minister Sai today met Mathur at his residence in New Delhi and congratulated him.
Deputy Chief Ministers duo Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma, who accompanied Sai, also congratulated Mathur.
Mathur was instrumental in drafting strategy for victory of BJP in Chhattisgarh in 2023 Assembly Election. He also proposed the name of Vishnu Dev Sai as the Chief Minister after party defeated Congress.
“Chief Minister Sai met the new Governor of Sikkim. He congratulated him and wished him a successful tenure,” official sources said.
Looking into the vast experience of Mathur in public life, definitely Sikkim will be benefitted, Sai said.
