Raipur, November 25, 2025: Chhattisgarh has received a total of Rs 7.90 lakh crore in investment proposals so far, including Rs 6,321.25 crore in industrial investment and Rs 505 crore in tourism investment at the Investor Connect event held in the capital Delhi today.
Official sources stated that Chhattisgarh received unprecedented investment proposals at the Investor Connect event held in the capital Delhi today. Leading companies from various sectors, including steel, energy, and tourism, have expressed interest in setting up industries, capacity expansion, hotel construction, and waste-to-energy projects in the state.

Companies participating in the event have proposed a total of Rs 6,321.25 crore in industrial investment and Rs 505 crore in tourism investment. These projects are expected to create over 3,000 employment opportunities in the coming years.
With this investment proposal, Chhattisgarh has received a total of ₹7.90 lakh crore in investment proposals so far.
The event, held today at Hotel The Lalit in Delhi, focused on new investment opportunities, focusing on the steel and tourism sectors. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai discussed investment opportunities in Chhattisgarh with leading investors, experts and industry representatives and presented investment proposal letters to several companies in the steel and tourism sectors.
Inviting industrialists to invest, the Chief Minister stated that Chhattisgarh is today one of the most reliable, stable, and rapidly emerging industrial destinations in the country.
Sai stated that the state possesses a combination of energy, minerals, competent human resources, and investor-friendly policies, creating an extremely conducive environment for any industry.

He explained that under the single-window system, permits are now being issued with greater speed and transparency than before. Setting up industries in Chhattisgarh has become easier than ever before. The state’s abundance of critical minerals like coal, iron ore, bauxite, tin, and lithium is a boon for the large industrial and manufacturing sectors.
The Chief Minister stated that the state received investment proposals worth over ₹3.5 lakh crore at the recently held Energy Summit, and work has already commenced on several projects.

Referring to the steel sector, Chief Minister Sai stated that Chhattisgarh is the country’s steel hub, with the Bhilai Steel Plant, Nagarnar Steel Plant, and MSME-based steel units strengthening the state’s industrial identity.
He stated that the Bhilai Steel Plant has been a pillar of the country’s industrial progress for the past 70 years, and its presence has created a natural ecosystem for steel-based industries.
Speaking on green steel and renewable energy, Sai said that the net-zero carbon emission target set by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has brought new opportunities for the state and Chhattisgarh is rapidly progressing in this direction.
Speaking on the tourism sector, the Chief Minister said that Bastar is changing dramatically today. Naxal violence has decreased, and roads, internet, and security have improved.
He stated that Bastar is now becoming a new hub for both investment and tourism. The government aims to make Bastar completely Naxal-free by March 31, 2026.
The Chief Minister stated that tourism has been granted industry status in the state, and the state government is focusing on homestay policy, tribal tourism, and sustainable tourism.
Chhattisgarh receives major investment proposals

– Green Energy Innovation Private Limited has proposed an investment of ₹3,769 crore to establish a 50-megawatt waste-to-energy plant that will generate electricity from waste, providing employment to 150 people. This project is considered a major step towards waste management and clean energy in Chhattisgarh.
– Aarti Coated Steel has proposed an investment of ₹315 crore, potentially creating 550 jobs.
– SDRM Metallics Private Limited has proposed an investment of ₹195.75 crore for a steel plant and power unit, potentially creating 492 jobs.
– RSLD Biofuel Private Limited, Chandigarh has proposed an investment of ₹200 crore for an ethanol plant, potentially creating 213 jobs.
– J.K. Lakshmi Cement, Rajasthan, has proposed an investment of over ₹1816.5 crore for capacity expansion, creating 110 jobs.
– Armani Group of Industries, Raipur, has proposed ₹25 crore for the manufacturing of medical electronic equipment, which will provide employment to 200 youth.
Investment proposals worth ₹505 crore received in the tourism sector
– Mars Vivaan Private Limited, Raipur, has invested ₹220 crore for a 217-room hotel, which will provide employment to 522 people.
– Heartfulness Institute, Telangana, has invested ₹200 crore for a wellness resort and education center.
– Vidya Inn, Jashpur, has invested ₹25 crore for a 52-room hotel.
– PSA Resort, Jagdalpur, has invested ₹60 crore for a 150-room adventure hotel and resort, which will provide a new impetus to tourism activities in Bastar. This is expected to generate employment for 200 people.
Chhattisgarh Industry Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan, Unionn Secretary of the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers Amit Agarwal, and Secretary of the Union Ministry of Steel Sandeep Paundrik, were also present at the event.
