Raipur, September 02, 2025: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi and briefed him about Naxal eradication campaign and development works in Chhattisgarh.
The Chief Minister said that since December 2023, as a result of the aggressive strategy of the security forces, 453 Maoists have been killed, 1616 have been arrested and 1666 have surrendered.

A total of 65 new security camps have been set up during this period, Sai said.
Infrastructure like roads, bridges and mobile networks have also expanded rapidly.
Sai also informed Union Home Minister Shah about the floods in Bastar and the ongoing relief work.
He said that providing help to the affected families and their rehabilitation is the top priority of the state government.
The Chief Minister said that his government is fully committed to the establishment of development and peace along with Naxal eradication in Bastar.
