     Raipur, June 26, 2011: Main opposition Congress today attempted to show its strength and an image of unity to root out BJP government in Chhattisgarh.

    All the prominent party leaders of the state were seen in the meeting, in which they called upon the Congress workers to dethrone the BJP government in the 2013 election.

     PCC President Nand Kumar Patel accused the BJP government of involved in corrupt practices and said the law and order situation has collapsed in the state and the government has even failed to conduct pre-medical entrance examination.

     Whether educated youths or farmers, all are unhappy with the Government, Congress leaders said adding the Government came to power with a plank of Rs 270 bonus to farmers but neither the bonus promise was kept nor the youth were provided jobs.

     Lone Lok Sabha MP Charan Das Mahant asked why the Chief Minister was silent on the steep hike in prices of cement and other products in the state.
