Raipur, February 10, 2012: Main opposition Congress today questioned the police transfer policy of Chhattisgarh government and alleged that the regime was adopting discriminatory attitude.
Despite huge financial assistance and forces from the Government of India, why policemen are being killed in the state, asked Chhattisgarh PCC.
How long forces in Chhattisgarh would become victim of intelligence failure, the PCC asked in a release, while paying tributes to the policemen killed yesterday in Sukma district and also wished speedy recovery of the injured.
The opposition also accused the state government of discrimination in posting and transfer of forces and officers in Maoists affected areas and allegedly that the regime has made posting an industry.
The Congress also demanded the BJP government to make public the list of police personnel, who have given application after completion of three years in Maoists areas, and what action had been taken on their request letters.
