New Delhi, October 23, 2008: Congress today cleared the names of 35 candidates for the Chhattisgarh Assembly election, including that of Leader of Opposition Mahendra Karma.
The first list, released by Central Election Committee In-Charge Oscar Fernandes here, also included the names of former Minister Ravindra Choubey, Bhupesh Baghel, Momd Akbar, Geeta Devi Singh, Dhanesh Patila, Tamradhwaj Sahu and Badruddin Qureshi.
