Raipur, November 20, 2022: Chhattisgarh PCC President Mohan Markam today claimed the ruling Congress will win hands down in December 5 Bhanupratappur assembly by-election.
Consecutively for the fifth time the ruling Congress will win the December 5 by election of Bhanupratappur in Kanker district of Chhattisgarh, said Markam.
People will vote for Congress looking into the welfare programmes implemented by the Bhupesh Baghel government in the last 4 years, he said.
The active organisational works would also benefit immensely the ruling party, the PCC chief said.
He also claimed the tribals have decided to teach a lesson to the BJP for its anti-tribal stand during its 15 years rule.
Congress had been working continuously even after winning three-fourth seats in the 90-member house in 2018 assembly election, Markam said.
Confidence of people on Congress party has increased in the last 4 years due to welfare measures and active organisational activities, he added.
