Raipur, August 15, 2023: After a long meeting the ruling Congress today asked all the aspirants to apply for ticket to the block Congress committee.
Party in charge Kumari Selja said instead of seeking recommendation from top leaders the ticket seekers should apply at the block congress committee, from where they aspirant.
Between August 17 and 19 all aspirants should apply for tickets to the respective block congress committee, she said.
This was decided at the first State Election Committee meeting of the PCC here, which continued till night.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, PCC President and Chairman of the Committee Deepak Baij, Deputy Chief Minister T S Singhdeo, Speaker Dr Charandas Mahant and other members participated in the meeting.
