Raipur, May 09, 2013: Chhattisgarh Government today said it has banned Communist Party of India (Maoist) and six of its frontal organisations for another year.
Under the Section-Three of the Chhattisgarh Special Public Security Act 2005 (Chhattisgarh Jan Surakjshya Adhiniyam-2005) the CPI-Maoist and six of its frontal organisations are banned for one more year, from April 12, last, a state government release said today.
Dandakaranya Adivasi Kisan Mazdoor Sangh, Krantikari Adivasi Mahila Sangh, Krantikari Adivasi Balak Sangh, Krantikari Kisan Committee, Mahila Mukti Manch, RPCC or Jantana Sarkar have been declared by the Home Department as banned organisations, it said.
The CPI Maoist is a banned organisation since April 12, 2006 under the Chhattisgarh Special Public Security Act.
