Raipur, April 24, 2010: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today stressed for taking the developmental works to the far off places of the state.
There should not have double standard in the society and all should have equal opportunity in development, the Chief Minister told a function here.
He also said the Maoists have created obstruction in development of the tribal dominated areas, when the tribals should have access to road, heath, education and other facilities of the government.
Tribals are one third of the total population and they have been ensured several special benefits under the Constitution for their overall development, Singh said.
