ED raids office of CHiPS

     October 18, 2022: Sleuths from the Enforcement Directorate today raided the premises of the Chhattisgarh Infotech Biotech Promotion Society (CHiPS) 5 days after arresting its CEO.

     Officials from the ED today reached the building, where the office of the CHiPS located in the Civil Line area of the capital with police forces and conducted search operation.

      During the search, security forces did not allow anyone to enter the premises.

      The ED on October 13, 2022 arrested a 2009-batch IAS Sameer Vishnoi two days after the central agency raided premises of the senior officials, politicians and businessmen in the state.

     Vishnoi is currently posted as Chief Executive Officer of CHiPS and Managing Director of the State Cooperative Marketing Federation (Markfed).

     Meanwhile, sources claimed, ED team also reached the native place of Raigarh Collector Ranu Sahu in Panduka village of Gariyaband district.

      The ED reached the houses of her parents and other relatives, they claimed adding details are awaited.
