Raipur, April 27, 2026: Enforcement Directorate (ED) today conducted raids in multiple locations of Chhattisgarh relating to the multi-million Bharatmala project scams.
Among others the ED raided the premises of a close relative of senior BJP legislature Ajay Chandrakar, media reports said.
Although officially the ED has not stated any thing, but media said the central agency has raided several locations in Dhamtari district.
The agency conducted search on the people related to the centrally sponsored project after allegation of irregularities in distribution of compensation against the acquired lands for the project.
Under the Bharatmala project Raipur is being connected with Visakhapatnam.
