Raipur, June 10, 2024: After being sworn in as Prime Minister for the 3rd time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has signed his first file authorising release of 17th instalment of PM Kisan Nidhi.
This decision will benefits 9.3 crore farmers and distribute around Rs 20,000 crores, official sources said today.
“Ours is a Government fully committed to Kisan Kalyan. It is therefore fitting that the first file signed on taking charge is related to farmer welfare,” said Prime Minister Modi after signing the file.
“We want to keep working even more for the farmers and the agriculture sector in the times to come,” he added.
Narendra Modi led National Democratic Alliance government took oath yesterday at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Besides Prime Minister Modi a total of 71 Ministers, including 30 cabinet ministers, 5 Ministers of State with Independent Charge and 36 Ministers of State were administered oath of office and secrecy by the President Droupadi Murmu yesterday.
