Raipur, April 05, 2012: The ambitious seventh Gram Suraj Abhiyan of Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh would be started from April 18 to 27, 2012, officials said today.
The Gram Suraj campaign would be held in two parts, the officials told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.
The first part of the campaign would be carried out from April 18 to 21, next and the second part would be from April 23 to 27, 2012, they added.
Since 2005, the Gram Suraj Abhiyan had been carried out in the state by the BJP government to understand the pulse of the people and only in 2009 it was disrupted due to enforcement of the Model code of conduct for the parliamentary election.
During the campaign period the Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh would make surprise landing at any of the 20,000 villages and interact with the people to understand their issues and try to resolve that.
