Raipur, January 26, 2012: Chhattisgarh Governor Shekhar Dutt today unfurled the National Flag at a ceremonial function at Raipur, where as Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh received salute of an impressive Republic Day parade at Jagdalpur.
Governor Dutt hoisted the National Flag at the Police Parade ground here and witnessed a colourful march past of civil and uniform participants.
He also wished the people on the occasion of Republic Day.
In a similar function at the divisional headquarters of Bastar at Jagdalpur, Chief Minister Singh also participated in an impressive function to mark the occasion.
The ceremonial function was organised at the Lal Bagh Ground.
During this occasion the Chief Minister also honoured people from various walks of life, including freedom fighters.
He also addressed the gathering.
Similar functions were organised in all the districts of the state.
