Bilaspur, April 03, 2012: Senior Police Officer B S Maravi today passed away after a brief illness.
Maravi was the Inspector General of Police, Bilaspur.
He was admitted to a local private hospital where he passed away, officials said.
He died of cardiac arrest, they said.
Governor Shekhar Dutt and Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh have expressed their deepest sorrow over the untimely demise of the efficient police officer.
After transfer of G P Singh, the then Additional Commissioner Transport Maravi was recently shifted to Bilaspur as IGP.
