Raipur, January 21, 2010: Union Home Minister P Chidambaram would chair an inter-state meeting on naxalism and development tomorrow at the Chhattisgarh capital Raipur.
Chidambaram would be arriving with his nine-team, with top officials from Union Home Ministry, Intelligence Bureau, CRPF and ITBP among others, Police Headquarters sources told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.
In the meeting, besides Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, Chief Secretary P Joy Oommen and his officials, Chief Minister of Orissa Naveen Patnaik, Director General of Police M M Praharaj and Home Minister of Maharashtra R R Patil and his officials would be present, officials said.
Chidambaram would review with Chhattisgarh, Orissa and Maharashtra on the action taken on naxal and development fronts, Secretariat sources said.
The Union Home Minister is scheduled to stay here for a couple of hours only tomorrow.
