Raipur, May 02, 2012: The interlocutors from both the parties today discussed the issue of release of Sukma District Collector Alex V F Paul Menon V, who is in the custody of Maoists since April 21, the day when he was kidnapped by the rebels from Majhipara area of Sukma District in Chhattisgarh.
Interlocutors from both Chhattisgarh and Maoists sides today again discussed the issue, sources close to them told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.
When Nirmala Buch and Suyogya Kumar Misra have been representing the state Government side, Dr Brahma Dev Sharma and Prof G Haragopal are the interlocutors for the Maoists, who have reached an agreement on May 30 for the safe release of IAS Menon.
All the four discussed the matter as the Maoists have announced to release the Collector on May 3 at Tadmetla, the sources said.
Sharma has also stated that they are ready to visit the forest to receive the Collector from the Maoists.
It has not been cleared who else would accompany the interlocutors to the forest.
