Raipur, September 12, 2016: A comparatively lesser known leader Gyanesh Sharma was today appointed Chairman of the Medical Department of Chhattisgarh State PCC.
AICC General Secretary Janardan Dwivedi said Congress President Sonia Gandhi reconstituted the media Committee, while dropping Shailesh Nitin Trivedi.
Gyanesh Sharma was appointed as Chairman of the three member state media Department of Congress.
R P Singh has been made the convener of the Committee where as Sushil Anand Shukla is made the Secretary.
Many in PCC circle expressed surprise over the fresh appointment and said how come a lesser known leader was made the Chairman of the Committee when in 2018 the state is going for its assembly election.
The previous Chairman Shailesh Nitin Trivedi was quite aggressive in his attack on the state BJP government and people opposed to the Congress party, including former Chief Minister Ajit Jogi.
