     Korba, May 10, 2012: Chhattisgarh government today expressed its displeasure over the lack of sincerity by Anil Agrawal led BALCO in implementing its promises.

     BALCO should not only be engaged in announcement and promises, let it implement that also, said Labour Minister Chandrasekhar Sahu.

     Sahu was presiding over a meeting of industrial houses of Korba to review the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) works carried out by them in the District.

     It was the responsibility of the BALCO to carry out social works in its periphery, the Minister said pulling up the Anil Agrawal led company for not keeping its promises.

     The Minister also asked the Additional District Collector Abhay Mishra to constitute a team of people’s representatives to review the works carried out by the BALCO as the issues of construction of roads and safe drinking water was raised in the meeting.

     The Minister also strictly asked the BALCO not to cut any tree located in its premises or outside.
