Raipur, May 02, 2011: Chhattisgarh Government today made 1984 batch IAS Manmath Kumar Raut as the new Chairman of the Board of Secondary Education.
Principal Secretary PWD and School Education Departments, Raut has been made Chairman of the Board of Secondary Education as an additional charge, a General Administration Department order said here.
On April 30 only, Vijayendra, a 1991 batch IAS on deputation to Chhattisgarh, was made the new Secretary Mines as additional charge along with Chairman of the Board of Secondary Education and Professional Examination Board.
However, in two days of becoming Mines Secretary, Board of Secondary Education work had been withdrawn from him and given that to Raut.
Vijayendra is currently serving Chhattisgarh on inter-cadre deputation.
