New Delhi, March 02, 2024: Many top Chhattisgarh BJP leaders and Ministers are camping in Delhi or meeting top leaders, including BJP President and state in-charge ahead of the Lok Sabha ticket announcement.
Immediately after the state assembly was prematurely ended many state leaders rushed to Delhi and meeting top leaders, party sources said here today.
To finalise the names of the candidates for the 11 Lok Sabha seats from Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai had met the state in-charge Mansukh Mandaviya and discussed the political situation of the state on Thursday last.
Both the Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma also met several top BJP leaders recently at Delhi.
DCM-Home Vijay Sharma also met the Union Health Minister and state in-charge Mansukh Mandaviya and briefed him about the state, sources said.
Meanwhile, Shiv Ratan Sharma and Saurav Singh, who were defeated in the recently held assembly election, were also in Delhi along with Bhupendra Sawanni in search of better political prospect, sources claimed.
The three senior leaders met the BJP national President J P Nadda on Saturday and appraised him about the issues being faced by the state ahead of the Lok Sabha election, the sources said.
The trio also met the BJP national general secretary B L Santosh for a better political prospect.
BJP sources said the tours of BJP leaders will continue for some more time now till the list of candidates are declared.
