     Raipur, May 11, 2014: Chhattisgarh will soon have a Centre of Excellence for research on medicinal plants, a top government of India secretary said.

     After Government Shekhar Dutt took special interest, a centre of excellence would be set up in Chhattisgarh for research on medicinal plant, Union Ayush Secretary Nilanjan Sanyal said here.

     On this matter, Sanyal had a detailed discussion with the agriculture experts, Ayush and other experts of the state.

     The Union Secretary also said Chhattisgarh has lot of scope for herbal and medicinal plants.
