     Jagdalpur, December 07, 2022: Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain and Director General of Police Ashok Juneja today visited the Maoist hit Sukma and Narayanpur districts of Bastar region.

     The Chief Secretary reviewed the developmental works of the Bastar region and enquired about the pace of development in the interior areas, especially in the far off places of the Maoist hit Sukma and Narayanpur districts, official sources said.

     The Chief Secretary along with the DGP also reviewed the security deployment and position of the forward posts, they said.

      Both the top officials reached Pidmel camp of Sukma district and personally inspected the Bheji-Chintagufa road of Sukma district and then Palli-Barsur road of Narayanpur district after reaching Kadenar camp.

     Jain and Juneja inspected the new security camps, under construction roads, bridges and other developmental works and issued direction to the local authorities to speed up the works without compromising quality.

     PWD Secretary Siddarth Komal Pardeshi, head of anti-naxal operation Vivekanand Sinha, IG Bastar Sunderraj P and other officials also accompanied both the top bureaucrats to various destinations.
